Have you ever heard of John Goddard ?
He is known to be the world’s greatest goal achiever.
So cool! Right?!
The story goes that one rainy afternoon in 1939, at the age of 15, John Goddard sat down at his kitchen table and made a list of 127 goals he wanted to achieve in his lifetime.
Really big goals, like…
Visit every country in the world
Learn to fly a plane
Climb Mt. Fuji
Explore the Amazon river (you can read the whole list here)
The amazing thing about Goddard is he never gave up on his teenage dreams in fact, he devoted his entire life to achieving them! He managed to complete most all of the goals on his original list as well as many goals from subsequent lists before he died in 2013.
Can you imagine what life would be like if we all followed Goddard’s example?
What if we all devoted our lives to our teenage dreams, our greatest goals and not stopping until we achieved them?
Always stepping out of our comfort zones.
Always taking massive action. (Which by definition is taking action until you get the desired results!)
If Vision boards were a thing back then, I can only imagine what Goddard’s would have looked like! Wowza!
I aspire to be a great goal achiever and if you’re like me, and you want to happen to your life not vice a versa, I invite you to join me for a morning of goal setting and vision boarding at:
