Choose Wisely

When you woke up this morning, what was the very first thought you had?
 
Think hard...what was it?
 
Was it the kind of thought that got you up and moving excited for your day?
 
The very first thought you think sets the mood for the whole day and the good news is you can choose it.
 
For the next week, keep a notebook by the side of your bed.  Try and record the very first thought you have when you wake up.
 
Not sure you’ll be able to? 

Make a request of yourself the night before.  

Set your intention to acknowledge and record the very first thought you have.  

Be patient with yourself.

Just acknowledge and record it.  

No judgment.

Don’t try to make any changes at first.  
 
At the end of the week look at the thoughts you had, are they the same?  

Consistent?  

Totally random?  
 
Is it the thought you want to have to start your day?
 
If not, what would you like it to be?   

How do you want to start your day?

Before you go to sleep, think about the thought you want to have when you wake up.  Over time, you will be able to generate that thought as soon as your brain knows your awake.

Remember... your thoughts, create your feelings which cause your actions which create your results.
 
Choose your first thought, set the tone for the rest of your day,
