What's Your Endgame?

I don’t know about you but, I love this time of year.

I love the beginnings of things, movies, projects, books and yes, years.

Beginnings are energizing, full of possibility.
Middles are gritty, hard, beautiful.
And, endings, well, I love them too especially if I have created them intentionally.

Let me explain.

One thing I like to do this time of year is create an endgame for myself.
An endgame is basically a paragraph you write about where you want to be this time next year.

There is something powerful in writing down what your life will be like when your goals are achieved.

And, get this…Where you will be this time next year is the direct result of the thoughts you think and believe on purpose right now. Those thoughts will create the feelings you need to take the action to achieve everything you want.

Interested in writing your own?
Two tips:

*always write your endgame as if all of your goals and dreams for the year have come true.
*always write it in the present tense.

Sample end game:

It’s January 11th, 2023. I am surrounded by a group of successful, creative, future focused friends who are always working on cool projects and we collaborate often. The warehouse space I secured for The Mirth Project also houses my new studio and is a common hang out for many. Many nights you find a group gathered around my table laughing and planning a trip or brainstorming a new project. My podcast is growing in popularity and all three of my businesses are growing. I’m in the best physical shape of my life and I have maintained my 2021 weight loss. I’m excited for what’s next. I am just getting started.

I’d love to hear about your endgames!!! Send me yours at robinmcallisterzaas@gmail.com.
